LUXURY FASHION GIANT LOUIS VUITTON IS OPENING ITS OWN HOTEL

The world-renowned luxury group Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton (LVMH) is preparing to open a hotel directly bearing the Louis Vuitton brand for the first time in its history in 2026. Although the group owns more than 50 hotels worldwide, it had never before used its flagship brand, Louis Vuitton, in the hospitality sector.

LVMH's current hotel portfolio consists of three strong brands: Cheval Blanc, Belmond, and Bulgari Hotels & Resorts. LVMH, which wants to add another strong brand to its portfolio, is continuing its preparations to open the first Louis Vuitton hotel in Paris. According to Paris For You sources, the hotel will be located in the historic building at 103 Champs-Élysées, which was previously planned as Dior's new headquarters.

Built as a hotel in 1898, this prestigious Haussmann-style building is an important witness to the history of Paris. After serving for many years as a bank headquarters and the general headquarters of HSBC, the building became part of LVMH. The structure, redesigned by Louis Vuitton, will be transformed into an ultra-luxury hotel with exclusive suites. Overnight stay fees are expected to reach up to 10,000 euros.

Facade Camouflaged with a Giant Louis Vuitton Suitcase

Due to renovations, the building's exterior facade is currently covered. However, instead of a standard construction curtain, LVMH is using a special covering in the form of a giant suitcase featuring Louis Vuitton's iconic LV monogram. This striking visual strongly emphasizes both the brand's heritage and its deep-rooted presence in Paris.

New 6,000 m² Structure on the Champs-Élysées

The total property located on Avenue des Champs-Élysées is situated right next to the brand's world-famous largest store on the boulevard and is designed to incorporate this store as well. The decision to open the brand's first hotel in Paris once again reveals Louis Vuitton's deep commitment to the city.

LVMH CEO and Chairman of the Board Pietro Beccari described his office in the building with the words, “The most magnificent view in the world.” From this spot, both the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower can be seen panoramically. The project, combining iconic design and LVMH's vision, is set to reshape Paris's luxury tourism map.
