Passengers who missed their flight pressed the emergency button and entered the runway

It was reported that two Romanian passengers who missed the plane heading from Cologne, Germany, to Bucharest, the capital of Romania, and which had already proceeded to the runway, tried to stop the aircraft by waving their hands in the apron area they entered through an emergency exit.
According to reports in the German press; the Wizz Air flight from Cologne-Bonn Airport to Bucharest began to move towards the departure runway after its passenger doors were closed. At this moment, two Romanian nationals who had missed their flight pressed an emergency button at the airport and entered the apron area where the plane was located through an evacuation door.
It was noted that the plane's planned departure time was delayed after the two individuals, identified as 28 and 47 years old, suddenly rushed onto the runway, waving their hands in an attempt to stop the aircraft.
Police announced that legal proceedings have been initiated against the two individuals for violating the Air Security Act and that the incident is being thoroughly investigated.
It was reported that the plane, which took off after the delay, landed in Bucharest without any issues.
