ANTALYA PEAKED IN OCTOBER: EXCEEDED 16 MILLION TOURISTS IN 10 MONTHS

Antalya, the tourism capital of the Mediterranean, reached an all-time high in visitor numbers in October 2025. The city, which recorded an 8 percent increase compared to the same period last year, hosted 2 million 216 thousand 554 foreign visitors in October alone.

In October, the country that sent the most tourists to Antalya was, with 639 thousand 445 visitors, Germany. It was followed by the Russian Federation with 583 thousand 4 visitors, while the United Kingdom ranked third with 182 thousand 201 visitors. The other countries completing the top ten were, respectively, Poland, Netherlands, Lithuania, Ukraine, Switzerland, Belarus and Denmark.

Compared to last year, the number of tourists from Germany increased by 8 percent, from Russia by 12 percent, from Poland by 6 percent, from Lithuania by 14 percent, from Ukraine by 17 percent, and from Switzerland by 5 percent. These increases once again demonstrated Antalya's strong position in the European and surrounding markets.

On Saturday, October 4, 93 thousand 403 foreign visitors entered through Antalya Airport's international terminal. This figure was the highest daily visitor count recorded in October to date.

16 Million Mark Exceeded in January–October Period

In the first ten months of 2025, the total number of foreign tourists visiting Antalya was, with an increase of 176 thousand 884 compared to the same period last year, 16 million 308 thousand 937.

During this period, Russian Federation ranked first with 3 million 889 thousand 889 visitors, while Germany came second with 3 million 342 thousand 550 people, and United Kingdom ranked third with 1 million 475 thousand 24 people. The United Kingdom was followed by Poland (1 million 248 thousand 756), Netherlands (453 thousand 867), Ukraine (413 thousand 28), Romania (410 thousand 667), Kazakhstan (368 thousand 255), Czech Republic (287 thousand 381) and Lithuania (242 thousand 399).

Antalya is strongly completing the 2025 season with a consistent upward trend, while the balanced distribution of different markets continues to support the city's sustainable growth in international tourism.
