A NEW MOVE FROM RIXOS EGYPT IN DESTINATION MANAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT

Rixos Egypt hosted an important event that strengthened Sharm El Sheikh's position in international wedding and event tourism. The Indian wedding, held over three days at Rixos Radamis Sharm El Sheikh, attracted attention due to its participant profile and event scale.

Approximately 600 guests arrived in the region via 10 private jets and 2 charter flights. During the event, 26 villas at Club Privé by Rixos and the hotel's upper-segment accommodation units were reserved exclusively for this event.

Within the scope of the event, the hotel's extensive areas hosted various programs, and beach stages and outdoor arrangements were used for three days. One of the striking elements of the program was a 500-drone light show performed for 15 minutes.

The preparation process was carried out with a comprehensive production involving teams from Egypt, Dubai, England, and France working together. All elements such as technical infrastructure, visual design, and logistics were completed with the joint coordination of numerous companies.

Feedback received after the event indicated that Sharm El Sheikh has started to be preferred more, especially in the Indian wedding segment. It was reported that some families from the group who attended the event expressed that they would consider Rixos Radamis again for future weddings.

Rixos Egypt CEO Erkan Yıldırım, in his assessment after the organization, stated:

“As Rixos, we don't just operate hotels; we create destinations on a global scale. 600 guests from all over the world completely occupied the top segments of our hotel, from our villas to our suites. Following this event, at least five families from the same group expressed their desire to hold their children's weddings here. In the coming period, we will continue to bring much larger and more powerfully produced international events to Sharm El Sheikh.”

According to Rixos Egypt's statement, the goal is to elevate Sharm El Sheikh to a stronger position in terms of event tourism through similar organizations.
