In his statement on his social media account, Minister Uraloğlu said, "As a result of the air strikes launched by Israel against Iran in the early hours of the morning on June 13, 2025, the airspaces of Israel, Iran, Syria, and Iraq have been temporarily closed to air traffic due to the increase in security risks in the region. Within the scope of the NOTAMs published, Israeli airspace, Tehran airspace, and Baghdad airspace will be closed. In line with the developments, necessary measures have been taken by our General Directorate of Civil Aviation and relevant airline companies, and flight routes have been re-planned to avoid the use of risky airspaces. Passenger and crew safety is prioritized, and crisis management efforts regarding the process are ongoing. Currently, there are no passengers or personnel at risk. Our relevant airlines, especially Turkish Airlines, have canceled their flights to Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Jordan until Monday, June 16, 2025," he said.

Completely unused tickets will be refunded free of charge. For partially used tickets where the journey has not been completed; the refund of the unused flights on the ticket will be made free of charge. The validity of the ticket can be extended until July 15, 2025 (inclusive) without any fare difference or penalty.
