İGA is Establishing a K9 Unit
IGA, the operator of Istanbul Airport, which continues to grow in the field of aircraft security services and inspection, will establish a K9 unit consisting of protection and explosive detection dogs as part of its security projects.
IGA Security Services Inc., which undertakes the security of IGA Istanbul Airport, has also started providing services to major airlines around the world. IGA Security is signing important national and international collaborations with the special license granted by the General Directorate of State Airports Authority (DHMİ). In 2025, IGA Security signed cooperation agreements with China Eastern Airlines, one of China's largest airlines, Croatia Airlines, Croatia's flag carrier airline, All Nippon Airways (ANA), one of Japan's most prestigious companies, and Uzbekistan Airways. According to the agreement, the company will provide additional security services to these companies in critical areas such as aircraft undercarriage access control, travel document inspection, cargo and supply security.
SECURITY TRAINING GIVEN IN 67 AIRPORTS
In 2023, IGA Security was authorized to train airport security personnel from Middle Eastern and Central Asian countries within the scope of the cooperation with the United States Transportation Security Administration (TSA). In 2023, the Company provided training to 67 airport security personnel from countries such as Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, and in 2024, it provided training to more than 400 security officers from many countries, especially Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
