THE NUMBER OF TOURISTS VISITING ANTALYA EXCEEDED 9 MILLION

In July, Antalya reached 2 million 722 thousand tourists, and in 7 months, a total of 8 million 988 thousand 751 tourists. On August 1st, the city surpassed 9 million tourists. Russian tourists ranked first with 2 million 27 thousand people in 7 months.

According to the international passenger data from Antalya Airport and Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport by the Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism, a total of 8 million 988 thousand 751 tourists came to the city in the 7-month period of this year, a 0.77 percent decrease compared to 2024, which was an all-time record year. In the city, which was visited by 9 million 58 thousand tourists in the first 7 months of last year, the decrease in the number of incoming tourists in the same period this year was 69 thousand 851.

JULY EXCEEDED 2 MILLION

In July 2025, a total of 2 million 722 thousand tourists came to Antalya, with a decrease of 0.77 percent. Compared to July last year, the number of tourists decreased by 21 thousand 69. The largest increase in July occurred from Russia, with 618 thousand tourists, an increase of 3.4 percent. From Germany, which ranked 2nd, 442 thousand people visited the city with a 0.09 percent increase, and from Poland, 3rd, 225 thousand people with a 0.7 percent increase. From the UK, 4th, 215 thousand tourists came with a 3 percent decrease.

9 MILLION MARK SURPASSED ON AUGUST 1ST

As of August 1st, with a total of 85 thousand 414 tourists, including 83 thousand 741 people landing at Antalya Airport and 1673 people landing at Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport, the 9 million tourist mark was surpassed, reaching a total of 9 million 30 thousand 352 tourists.

DAILY RECORD BROKEN; 105 THOUSAND TOURISTS IN 1 DAY

On Saturday, August 2nd, the city's all-time daily highest tourist number record was also broken with a total of 105 thousand 284 foreign tourists, including 103 thousand 526 at Antalya Airport and 1758 at Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport.

MOST TOURISTS FROM RUSSIA

In the 7-month period of this year, most tourists came to Antalya from the Russian Federation. While 2 million 27 thousand people arrived from Russia with a very small decrease compared to last year, the share of Russians in the total number of tourists was 24.1 percent.

Russia was followed by German tourists in 2nd place. 1 million 715 thousand tourists came from Germany with a 3 percent decrease. The share of Germans in the total number of tourists was 20.4 percent.

From the UK, which ranked 3rd for most incoming tourists, 880 thousand 713 tourists came with a 0.7 percent increase. The share of British tourists in the total was 10.5 percent.

From Poland, Antalya's 4th most important market, 691 thousand 520 tourists came with a 1 percent increase. The share of Polish tourists in the total was 89.2 percent.

TOP 20 COUNTRIES WITH MOST INCOMING TOURISTS

Following Russia, Germany, the UK, and Poland, which are Antalya's four most important markets, the other countries in the top 20 with the most incoming tourists were listed as follows;

Netherlands with a 1.8 percent decrease and 273 thousand people, Kazakhstan with a 12 percent decrease and 240 thousand people, Ukraine with a 22 percent increase and 228 thousand people, Romania with a 1 percent decrease and 221 thousand people, Czech Republic with a 5 percent decrease and 153 thousand people, Lithuania with an 11 percent increase and 134 thousand people, Denmark with a 4 percent decrease and 115 thousand people, Belgium with a 0.8 percent decrease and 115 thousand people, Slovakia with an 8 percent decrease and 113 thousand people, Austria with a 5 percent increase and 104 thousand people, Moldova with a 2 percent increase and 102 thousand people, Sweden with a 2 percent decrease and 98 thousand people, France with a 2 percent decrease and 95 thousand people, Belarus with a 2 percent increase and 93 thousand people, Switzerland with a 1 percent decrease and 81 thousand people, Norway with a 6 percent decrease and 75 thousand people.
