CORENDON AIRLINES CELEBRATED ITS 20TH ANNIVERSARY WITH ITS PASSENGERS

Corendon Airlines, which has left behind 20 years in the aviation and tourism sectors, celebrated its anniversary in the sky with thousands of passengers. On Saturday, April 12, 2025, special moments were created for passengers with surprises on approximately 80 flights departing from 32 different airports in Europe and Egypt.

Corendon Airlines, which has maintained its steady growth since the day it was founded, thanked its passengers with friendship bracelets and chocolates on the 20th anniversary of its first flight on April 12, 2005. This meaningful celebration created a festive atmosphere on the flights, while also reflecting the brand's customer-oriented approach.

“We bring approximately 500 thousand tourists to our country every year”

Yıldıray Karaer, Chairman of the Board of Corendon Airlines, made the following statements in his assessment regarding the 20th year:

The first plane to land at Sabiha Gökçen was from Corendon

Corendon Airlines also has the distinction of being the first passenger plane to land at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport with its flight from Eindhoven Airport in the Netherlands in 2005. Today, the airline, which carries nearly 10 million passengers a year with its modern fleet of 31 Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, operates regular flights to more than 50 destinations worldwide. It makes significant contributions to the number of tourists coming to Turkey, especially with the direct flights it offers to important holiday destinations in the Mediterranean.
