Seven tourists died and 34 were injured after a boat sank in Bengkulu province, Indonesia.

The head of the province's search and rescue office, Muslikun Sodik, said in a statement that the incident occurred at around 4:30 p.m. yesterday. Sodik stated that the boat, which was carrying 98 local tourists and 6 crew members, sank while returning from Tikus Island to Bengkulu city.
