Paul Goodwen, a visually impaired British tourist, went up to the Babadağ runway at an altitude of 1700 meters in the morning with his family to do a tandem paraglide (double) in Fethiye, where he came for the first time. Goodwen, who flew with pilot Osman Nihat Cengiz for about 45 minutes, landed on Belcekız Beach. Goodwen sang songs throughout the flight. Speaking after the flight, Goodwen said, "I was amazed by Fethiye, where I came for the first time. Even though I can't see, I felt free with this experience. Being in the sky gave me an indescribable happiness." On the other hand, Goodwen's daughters also shared this experience with their father by making tandem flights from Babadağ.
