Air Transat, Canada's second-largest airline, will begin flights from Toronto to Istanbul Airport on December 6th.

Istanbul Airport continues to host new airlines. The airport will begin serving Air Transat, a Canadian-based airline awarded the 2025 Skytrax World Airline Award. The first flight from Canada to Istanbul will take place on December 6th. Flights will be operated twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Air Transat will be the first airline from the Americas to be hosted by Istanbul Airport Operator İGA.
