In the January-April period of 2025, the number of overseas trips made by air from the UK exceeded 70.5 million, an increase of 3.7% compared to the same period last year.

According to an analysis by Turizm Databank based on data from the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), Spain ranked first among the countries visited, with a share of 10.6%. Spain was followed by the USA, Italy, and France, while Turkey ranked eighth with a share of 3.2%. Greece's share remained at 0.6%.

Istanbul was the most preferred destination for trips to Turkey, with a rate of 56%. Antalya ranked second with 27%, while Muğla and İzmir had shares of 11.4% and 3.7%, respectively.
