Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and Le Park Concord have signed an exclusive development agreement to open 100 Super 8® hotels in Saudi Arabia over the next 10 years. The collaboration aims to increase accessible accommodation options in line with the country's 2030 tourism vision.

Wyndham's Growth Plan with 100 Hotels in Saudi Arabia

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, in collaboration with Saudi Arabia-based hotel operator Le Park Concord Company, aims to open 100 Super 8® hotels in the country over the next ten years. The exclusive development agreement aims to provide more accessible and affordable accommodation solutions within the scope of Saudi Arabia's 2030 tourism vision.

The first hotel is planned to open in 2026, in accordance with the agreement signed with the support of the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Tourism. The facilities to be opened are planned to be located in major cities such as Riyadh, Jeddah, Mecca, Medina, Dammam, and on main highways. Sustainable design and modular construction techniques will be used in the hotels.

Dimitris Manikis, President of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts EMEA, said the following about the agreement:

“By bringing the Super 8 brand to Saudi Arabia, we want to offer reliable and budget-friendly options for business and leisure travelers. This collaboration with Le Park Concord will contribute to Saudi Arabia’s rapidly growing tourism potential.”

Strategic Support for the Economy Segment

Saudi Arabia hosted 30 million foreign visitors in 2024, with a 9.5 percent increase. The goal is to reach 150 million by 2030. According to Knight Frank data, only 6 percent of hotel projects in the country are in the economy and mid-segment. The Super 8 brand aims to close this gap and reach a wider audience.

Fiaz Talal Alenezi, CEO of Le Park Concord, stated, "The growth of tourism in Saudi Arabia increases the need for branded and affordable hotels. Our collaboration with Wyndham combines a global standard with local experience.”

Supported by Wyndham Advantage

The agreement will also be implemented with the "Wyndham Advantage" support system offered by Wyndham in the field of hospitality. The Wyndham Rewards loyalty program, with over 115 million members, provides hotels with access to a global customer base. The company also provides operational support to hotel owners with technology investments and revenue management systems.

Super 8 by Wyndham is one of the most widespread brands in the economy segment worldwide. The brand announced last month that it plans to open 40 new hotels in Spain and Portugal as well.
