SUNEXPRESS ADDED ‘ADANA KEBAB’ TO ITS MENU

 SunExpress, a joint venture of Turkish Airlines (THY) and Lufthansa, has added Adana kebab to its in-flight catering menu.

SunExpress offers its passengers more options and flavors with its renewed in-flight menu. The new menu, which includes popular tastes from Turkish and world cuisine, as well as vegetarian and vegan alternatives, meets passengers on all flights. The renewed menu, taking into account passenger expectations and preferences, offers rich options appealing to every taste. While rich breakfast plates with hot delicacies such as omelets, pancakes, and cheese pastries are offered for sale for passengers starting their day, main courses include prominent tastes from Turkish cuisine such as Adana kebab and Tire meatballs, as well as selections from world cuisine such as goulash and chicken with Café de Paris sauce. In addition to pasta alternatives, the menu also features a vegetarian plate consisting of various mezes, a falafel vegan menu, and a specially prepared children's menu for young guests. For dessert, semolina halva and celebration cake for special occasions are also included in the menu.

‘MY FAVORITE IS KEBAB AND SEMOLINA HALVA’

SunExpress CEO Max Kownatzki, making statements about the new catering menu, said, “Most of my favorite travel memories involve food. Because food instantly connects you to a place, its people, and their stories. At SunExpress, we don't just take our guests to their favorite destinations; we also offer local flavors unique to those places on board before arrival. Last month, we renewed our SunCafé Pre-Order Menu. Considering the feedback we received from our passengers, we have brought together traditional flavors from both European and Turkish cuisine in our renewed menu. Among the new additions from Turkish cuisine to our menu, Adana kebab and semolina halva are among my favorites.”
