One of Europe's leading airlines, Corendon Airlines, celebrated its 20th anniversary with a magnificent Gala Night held at the Antalya Cosmos Theatre.

The night, themed "20 Happy Flight Years," brought together distinguished figures from the aviation and tourism sectors, as well as public institutions, business, sports, politics, and the media.

Among those attending the night hosted by Başak Koç were Antalya Governor Hulusi Şahin, Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Muhittin Böcek, Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Yusuf Hacısüleyman, Acun Ilıcalı, Yılmaz Vural, and Ertem Şener.

Participants showed great interest

The Gala Night, held on Thursday, May 22, at the Antalya Cosmos Theatre, where art, entertainment, and technology intertwined, was hosted by Corendon Airlines Chairman Yıldıray Karaer and Corendon Tourism Group Founding Partner Atılay Uslu. The night, which attracted great interest, was attended by business partners from many countries such as Turkey, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Egypt, England, and Austria, as well as numerous guests from public institutions, aviation and tourism sectors, business, sports, politics, and the media.

More than just an airline…

Making the opening speech of the Gala Night, Yıldıray Karaer mentioned Corendon Airlines' adventure in the sky and said: "Twenty years ago, my partner Atılay and I decided to establish Corendon Airlines during a car journey from Brussels to Amsterdam. Our aim was not only to establish an airline company but also to be a holiday airline that brings people together with safe, comfortable, and heartfelt service. Today, we are very proud to see that this dream has turned into a great success shared with millions of passengers.”

Stating that they have strived to create an innovative, dynamic, and reliable brand, Yıldıray Karaer continued his words as follows: “In the past 20 years, Corendon has become not only a growing airline brand, but also a community established with a strong team, reliable business partners, and loyal passengers. With a fleet of 35 aircraft, we have become a family that touches 10 million passengers a year and generates significant revenue for the tourism sector. We are proud of our achievements, but our journey is not over. We still want to improve, provide quality service, and meet in the skies for many more years to come.”

In his speech, Karaer thanked his valuable business partners, the employees he described as the "heart of the company," and the millions of passengers who preferred Corendon, and said, "We are very happy to share this very special night, where we celebrate our 20th anniversary, with you. Let's continue to fly towards the future together.”

A night full of stars

The Gala Night was crowned with unforgettable performances. The stage was entrusted to artists representing the destinations Corendon Airlines flies to, carrying the spirit of the cities they live in. Famous Spanish singer Nalaya Brown, successful percussion artist Yusuf Özer and the All Star Team, French-Lebanese singer and dancer Carolina Karam, The Big Band with their impressive scenes, Hunkar Dance Show, and Ivi Adamou with her energetic stage performance, offered the audience a visual and auditory feast. The night ended with Juni Juliet's after-party performance.

A feast of flavors on the Corendon route

The stage concept of the night was reflected in the dinner menu. The dinner served to the guests brought together the unique flavors of the destinations on Corendon Airlines' route. The meal, which took the guests on a tour of world flavors, had the taste of a different destination in each course and the traces of another culture in each bite.
