Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu said, "Our relevant airlines, especially Turkish Airlines, have canceled their flights to Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Jordan until Monday, June 16, 2025."

Minister Uraloğlu said in a statement on his social media account, "As a result of the air strikes launched by Israel against Iran in the early hours of the morning on June 13, 2025, the airspaces of Israel, Iran, Syria, and Iraq have been temporarily closed to air traffic due to the increasing security risks in the region. Within the scope of the NOTAMs published, the Israeli airspace, Tehran airspace, and Baghdad airspace will be closed. In line with the developments, the necessary measures have been taken by our General Directorate of Civil Aviation and our relevant airline companies, and flight routes have been replanned to avoid the use of risky airspaces. Passenger and crew safety are prioritized, and crisis desk efforts are continuing regarding the process. Currently, there are no passengers or personnel at risk. Our relevant airlines, especially Turkish Airlines, have canceled their flights to Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Jordan until Monday, June 16, 2025."

For tickets issued on or before June 13, 2025, all passengers registered for flights to Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Jordan between June 13, 2025 - June 20, 2025 (inclusive), provided that they carry out the transaction by June 20, 2025 (inclusive): Reservation changes will be made free of charge. Unused tickets will be refunded free of charge. In partially used tickets where the trip has not been completed; the refund of the unused flights of the ticket will be made free of charge. The validity of the ticket can be extended until July 15, 2025 (inclusive) without any fare difference or penalty. The relevant applications will only be valid on flights operated by Turkish Airlines.
