Dubai Gastronomy Reaches the Top in the Michelin Guide
The 2025 Dubai edition of the Michelin Guide has been published. This year, the list, which includes a total of 119 restaurants, attracted attention with the awarding of three Michelin Stars to two restaurants for the first time in the city. This development confirms Dubai's rise on the global gastronomy scene.
The Michelin Guide, which identifies Dubai's best gastronomic spots and chefs, continues its journey, which started with 69 restaurants in 2022, with 119 selections in 2025. This year, three restaurants were awarded two stars, 14 restaurants were awarded one star, 22 restaurants were awarded Bib Gourmand, and three restaurants were awarded the Michelin Green Star.
World First: A Three-Star Indian Restaurant
Trèsind Studio, led by Chef Himanshu Saini, was awarded three stars this year after receiving its first Michelin Star in 2022 and its second in 2023. Thus, Trèsind Studio became the first Indian restaurant in the world to have three Michelin Stars.
The other three stars were awarded to FZN by Björn Frantzén, the Dubai restaurant of famous chef Björn Frantzén. With this award, Frantzén became a three-star owner for the third time, following his restaurants Frantzén in Stockholm and Zén in Singapore. Thus, he achieved the title of the only chef in the world with three different restaurants with three stars at the same time.
Italian Cuisine Retains Its Power
Italian cuisine continued its strong representation in the Michelin Guide Dubai 2025. Il Ristorante - Niko Romito, managed by Chef Niko Romito, managed to maintain its two Michelin Stars this year as well.
Selections from 35 Different Cuisines
This year's selection of Michelin covers a rich range of 35 different cuisines. This list, which reflects Dubai's diversity in international cuisines and its quality-oriented approach, plays an important role in the city's transformation into a global destination by contributing to its gastronomy tourism.
