ADANA PREPARES FOR TOURISM MOBILITY WITH THE ORANGE BLOSSOM CARNIVAL
The official program for the "Orange Blossom Carnival - International in Adana in April," which will be held for the 13th time this year, has been announced. The events, which will take place between April 4-13, are expected to mobilize Adana's tourism potential and attract thousands of visitors from home and abroad. This year's carnival will be organized with the theme of "Children of the World," and the events will be further enriched within the scope of the "Turkish Culture Road Festivals" of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
Colorful Cortege and Stage Performances
On Saturday, April 5, a cortege march with thousands of colorfully costumed participants will take place in the city center. Simge will take the stage after the march. Various concerts and shows will take place on the stages to be set up in Central Park and Atatürk Park throughout the carnival.
Culture and Art Programs Come to the Fore
Performances by event groups from the USA, Japan, Latvia, Hungary, Russia, and Ukraine will be able to be watched within the scope of the carnival. Works such as "Abduction from the Seraglio" and "The Bremen Town Musicians" from Opera and Ballet artists will be staged. In addition, the Çukurova State Symphony Orchestra, the State Polyphonic Choir, and other art communities will provide unforgettable moments for the participants with various concerts.
Various exhibitions will meet visitors in venues such as the Adana Museum and Çırçır Cultural Center. Refik Anadol's digital exhibition and the paintings and sculptures of local artists will be waiting for art lovers.
Gastronomy and Sports Events
The "Orange Flavors Competition," which highlights Adana's culinary culture, will take the flavors of Adana, which are identified with citrus, to a different dimension. In addition, sports tourism will be supported with events such as the Orange Blossom Public Run and the Chess Tournament.
