The most affordable travel destinations in Europe have been determined as of 2025. According to research by HelloSafe, the cheapest countries are mostly located in Eastern Europe and the Balkans, considering basic expenses such as accommodation, food and beverage, and transportation.

According to the study based on data from Budget Your Trip and Kayak, while countries such as Switzerland (€241), France (€181) and Iceland (€177) continue to be among the most expensive travel destinations in Europe, countries such as Moldova, Serbia and Kosovo stand out for travelers looking for low-cost holidays.
