Hilton is strengthening its presence in Italy with two new hotels. Canopy by Hilton Milan Duomo, opening in Milan this year, will be the brand's first hotel in the country. In Rome, Hilton Garden Inn Rome Colosseum is preparing to welcome guests by opening its doors in the summer of 2026.

Hilton has signed a franchising agreement with Forimi Italia Spa, part of Gruppo Roscioli, for both hotels.

Located in the center of Milan, Canopy by Hilton will offer 96 rooms, a rooftop bar, swimming pool and spa facilities. The 181-room Hilton Garden Inn in Rome will appeal to both business and leisure travelers, and will attract attention with its location within walking distance of the Colosseum and the Roman Forum.

Hilton Vice President of Development, Southern Europe, Alan Mantin, made the following statement on the subject:
“Italy, one of Europe's most attractive destinations, remains a key market for Hilton. We currently have a total of 109 hotels operating and planned in the country. Milan and Rome, which stand out for their cultural richness and historical texture, are two of the world's most popular tourist cities. That's why we are excited to expand the options we offer our guests.”
