İSPANYOL AIR EUROPA, İSTANBUL HAVALİMANI UÇUŞLARINA BAŞLADI SPANISH AIR EUROPA LAUNCHES FLIGHTS TO ISTANBUL AIRPORT
One of Spain's leading airlines, Air Europa, has started flights to Istanbul Airport as of today.
The Spanish airline's first flight, the Madrid-Istanbul flight, operated by a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, landed at Istanbul Airport at around 14.00. A ceremony was held at the airport for the first flight. Air Europa will operate reciprocal flights between Madrid and Istanbul four days a week from today, and daily after July 7.

Speaking at the ceremony held at the airport, Istanbul Airport Operator İGA CEO Selahattin Bilgen said, "We are very pleased that Air Europa has started flights to İGA Istanbul Airport. This new air bridge established between Madrid and Istanbul is an important step that will strengthen tourism, trade and cultural relations between the two countries. We know that Istanbul not only has a strong position in international tourism; At the same time, it offers great opportunities for the business world thanks to its unique connection potential between the continents of Asia, Africa and Europe. "We sincerely believe that Air Europa, one of Spain's leading carriers, will add value to Istanbul."

Air Europa CEO Jesús Nuño de la Rosa said the following regarding Istanbul flights:
