TRUMP ADMINISTRATION COULD DEPORT IMMIGRANTS
The US Supreme Court has announced that it has granted the Donald Trump administration the authority to deport immigrants to countries other than their home countries.
The US Supreme Court has ruled that the Donald Trump administration can continue to deport immigrants to countries other than their own. By a vote of 6 to 3, the justices overturned a lower court ruling that ordered the Trump administration to give immigrants a "meaningful opportunity" to tell authorities about the risks they might face if deported to a third country. With this decision, the Trump administration will have the authority to quickly deport immigrants to countries other than their home countries.
US Department of Homeland Security spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin called the decision "a victory for the safety and security of the American people" and said, "The Biden administration has allowed millions of illegal immigrants to flood our country. Now, the Trump administration can use its unquestioned authority to remove criminal illegal aliens from the country and clean up this national security nightmare. The Department of Homeland Security can now exercise its legal authority and send illegal immigrants to a country willing to accept them."
