Hilton is strengthening its presence in Italy with two new hotels. Canopy by Hilton Milan Duomo, which will open in Milan this year, will be the brand's first hotel in the country. In Rome, Hilton Garden Inn Rome Colosseum is preparing to welcome guests in the summer of 2026.

Hilton has signed a franchise agreement with Gruppo Roscioli’s subsidiary Forimi Italia Spa for both hotels.

Located in the heart of Milan, Canopy by Hilton will offer 96 rooms, a rooftop bar, a swimming pool and spa facilities. The 181-room Hilton Garden Inn in Rome will appeal to both business and leisure travelers; its location within walking distance of the Colosseum and Roman Forum will draw attention.

Hilton's Vice President of Development, Southern Europe, Alan Mantin, made the following statement on the subject:
“Italy, one of the most attractive destinations in Europe, continues to be a key market for Hilton. We currently have a total of 109 hotels operating and planned in the country. Milan and Rome, which stand out with their cultural richness and historical texture, are two of the most popular tourist cities in the world. Therefore, we are excited to expand the options we offer to our guests.”
