KATY PERRY GOES TO SPACE WITH AN ALL-FEMALE CREW
It was stated that American singer Katy Perry will go to space with an all-female crew.
American singer Katy Perry will be accompanied by five more women, including Jeff Bezos' fiancée Lauren Sanchez, on the flight that will take place with Blue Origin's 'New Shepard' vehicle. The flight is planned to take place from Texas around 15:30 CET. This mission is the first all-female space crew since Soviet cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova's historic flight in 1963.
The fully automatic vehicle will rise vertically, then the capsule will detach and return to Earth with parachutes. On the approximately 10-minute flight, the crew will pass beyond the Karman Line, which is internationally recognized as the boundary of space. They will be able to leave their seats and move freely in zero gravity for a short time.
