DISCOVER AIRLINES LAUNCHES DIRECT FLIGHTS FROM MUNICH TO CALGARY
Discover Airlines, operating under the Lufthansa Group, continues to expand its long-haul flight network from Munich Airport. The airline's newest destination is Calgary, located in western Canada. As the fourth largest city in the country, Calgary stands out as an important transit point for nature and outdoor enthusiasts due to its proximity to Banff National Park and the Rocky Mountains in Alberta.
Flights from Munich to Calgary will be operated three times a week as part of the new route, departing at 13:25 local time.
Discover Airlines has thus launched its third new route in its intercontinental operations based in Munich. Inaugural flights had previously been operated on the Orlando (USA) and Windhoek (Namibia) routes. All long-haul flights are operated with Airbus A330 aircraft.
With its fleet of eight aircraft, Discover Airlines operates 80 weekly flights to a total of 32 holiday destinations on short, medium and long-haul routes.
