The accommodation tax paid in the same period was 0.86 billion TL ($23.7 million). While the highest accommodation tax accrual was recorded in Istanbul, Antalya, Muğla, and Izmir, the payment rate was approximately %52.

Hotel Turnover Reached $2.27 Billion

According to the information compiled by Turizmdatabank from Treasury data, in the January-February period of 2025, while a stable course was observed in foreign and domestic overnight stays, the total turnover of hotels in Turkey increased by 34% compared to the previous year, exceeding 2.27 billion dollars.
