502 passengers arrived in Bodrum, Muğla's tourist district, from London with 3 planes as part of the first international flights of the 2025 summer season. Passengers getting off the planes, which had 90 percent occupancy, were greeted with flowers.
The first international flight of the 2025 summer season took place at Milas-Bodrum Airport. 3 planes from London landed at the airport with an interval of approximately 5 minutes. Within this scope, the passengers who landed were greeted with flowers by TAV officials. Ömer Faruk Dengiz, President of Bodrum Hoteliers Association (BODER), Mustafa Demir, President of TÜRSAB Bodrum, TAV representatives and State Airports Authority officials attended the reception. A total of 502 passengers arrived, 151 on the first plane, 176 on the second plane and 175 on the third plane. On the other hand, a special cake was cut for the crew of the first plane that landed and a souvenir photo was taken. Foreign tourists who took their luggage moved towards the address where they would stay with the relevant tour operators and transportation vehicles at the airport exit.

Making an assessment about the flights in the 2025 summer tourism, Bodrum Hoteliers Association President Ömer Faruk Dengiz said, "We are having a special day. When we look at the passenger capacity of the planes, there is an occupancy rate of 85 percent. I hope we will catch a good occupancy in the hotels with the first day of the holiday. With the increase in flights, occupancy in the hotels will increase from the second week of April. There will be activity and 188 planes will arrive in April. The occupancy rate on the planes is good. We think we will have a good season," he said.

Now, an average of 2-3 planes will land daily in the first two weeks of April. But with Easter, there are 140 planes expected, especially until April 18-30. Of course, with May, we will return to the normal high season plane planning.
