UKRAINE-RUSSIA THIRD ROUND OF NEGOTIATIONS TO BE HELD IN TURKEY
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that a new round of negotiations with Russia is planned to take place in Turkey on Wednesday.
In a video message published on his social media account, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy addressed the latest developments in his country. Zelenskyy said that the Russians are carrying out intense airstrikes on the capital Kyiv and other regions, emphasizing that they need more air defense systems to prevent such attacks. Stating that Russia started the war, Zelenskyy said, "Russia must stop this war it started. No one needs this war except Russia."
Zelenskyy reported that he met with Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Rustem Umerov, and evaluated the preparations for the planned prisoner exchange program with Russia. Zelenskyy stated that he also discussed the negotiation process with the Russian side in Turkey with Umerov, saying, "Umerov stated that the meeting is planned to be held on Wednesday. More details will be shared tomorrow," he said.
