The government in India has reportedly extended the closure of 24 airports in the country until May 15 due to ongoing tensions with Pakistan.
The Ministry of Civil Aviation announced that the 24 airports, which were scheduled to remain closed until May 10, will not be operated until May 15 in accordance with new decisions.
The decision covers 24 airports in cities such as Chandigarh, Srinagar, Amritsar, Ludhiana, Bhuntar, Kishangarh, Patiala, Shimla, Jaisalmer, Pathankot, Jammu, Bikaner, Leh, and Porbander.
