It has been stated that American singer Katy Perry will go to space with an all-female crew.

American singer Katy Perry will be accompanied by five other women, including Jeff Bezos's fiancée Lauren Sanchez, on the flight with Blue Origin's 'New Shepard' vehicle. The flight is planned to take place from Texas around 3:30 PM Turkish time. This mission marks the first all-female space crew since Soviet cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova's historic flight in 1963.

The fully automated vehicle will ascend vertically, then the capsule will detach and return to Earth with parachutes. During the approximately 10-minute flight, the crew will pass beyond the Karman Line, which is internationally recognized as the boundary of space. They will be able to detach from their seats and move freely in a zero-gravity environment for a short time.
