Accor has announced a collaboration with Sukhani Ventures for two new luxury hotel projects in the Rajasthan region of northern India. As part of this; Raffles Ranthambore, which will bring together nature and luxury, will open in 2027, while Sofitel Legend Sukh Bagh Jaipur, the brand's first iconic address in India, will open its doors in 2028.

Luxury Integrated with Nature: Raffles Ranthambore

Located within Ranthambore National Park, Raffles Ranthambore will consist of 63 villas. 15 luxury tent villas, honeymoon suites and special accommodation options for families will be offered. The park, formerly a hunting reserve, is now a popular destination for photography enthusiasts and wildlife enthusiasts. IDEAS Architects and Jeffrey Wilkes are behind the hotel's design. Guests will be welcomed with Raffles brand's signature service, a dedicated butler and the Long Bar privilege.

Raffles Hotels & Resorts CEO Omer Acar said the following about the project:

"This unique location where history and nature intertwine is ideal for reflecting our brand's legendary hospitality."

Sofitel Legend Sukh Bagh Jaipur: Where Historical Heritage Meets French Elegance

Located 130 kilometers away in Jaipur, Sofitel Legend Sukh Bagh Jaipur stands out with its 260 rooms, 41 suites, 6,500 square meters of event space and extensive landscaped gardens. The design of the hotel, which will be located in the Kukas Amer region, will blend the aesthetic codes of French luxury with Jaipur culture.

Sofitel Legend CEO Maud Bailly made the following statement for the project:

"This hotel will be the first representative of the Sofitel Legend collection in India, bringing together French elegance and historical narrative."

Accor Growing in the Luxury Segment in India

Accor already has more than 70 hotels in India. Raffles Ranthambore will be the brand's third facility in the country. Sofitel Legend Jaipur, along with Sofitel Jaipur Jawahar Circle, which is scheduled to open in 2028, and Fairmont Udaipur, which will open in 2025, will complete Accor's luxury growth strategy in India.
